Sinbad is coming home to Michigan on August 7th in Detroit to film his one-hour comedy special "Make Me Wanna Holla." Sinbad, one of the world's most beloved comedians, originally shot to fame in the '80s with club shows and a star-making turn on the hit sitcom "A Different World." In addition to creating a successful series of stand-up specials for HBO and Comedy Central, the veteran funnyman starred in "The Sinbad Show," which earned him a nomination for "Favorite Television Actor" at the 1995 Kids' Choice Awards. Sinbad is also known for his feature roles in family comedies such as "First Kid," "Necessary Roughness," "Houseguest" and "Jingle All the Way." Most recently, Sinbad was recognized for his career as a hilarious and crowd roaring comic in the TV special "Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time."
