Actor, boxer and comedian, Malik Bazille was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Forced to leave after Hurricane Katrina, he and his family moved to Los Angeles, California where he was able to pursue his boxing career. He discovered acting just after high school. His new found love for acting did not stop his career as a boxer. His amateur record in boxing was 84-14; his boxing credentials landed him his first movie role. He was discovered in the boxing gym by fellow actor, Michael B. Jordan and earned the positive attention of director, Ryan Coogler who gave him a role in Creed. He has also landed a starring role in the film Burning Sands.
In 2017, Malik began his career in stand up comedy. The same determination that got him his stellar record in boxing, helped put him on the map in comedy. Malik has been doing stand up for 5 years and has opened for Jeff Garlin, Bryan Callen, & Brendan Schuab. It's Malik's time to shine, see him tape his special live!
