Drew Michael is returning to his hometown of Chicago and he wants you (yes, you, specifically) to sit in the audience and watch him move around and say words that will create light reflections and audio vibrations which will be captured and turned into his newest HBO special. The set will feature over an hour of material, covering a wide range of topics that would be meaningless to list here because nobody sees comedy based on “topics.”
Drew broke out with his self-titled, one-hour special on HBO, released to critical acclaim. The New York Times exalted it as “thrillingly subversive,” while GQ raved that Drew “represents the past and future of stand-up comedy.” Drew has also written for Saturday Night Live, a show he never watches because it is bad.
